Dr. Kru Narender Kumar
These are the core principles of Kru (translation – teacher) Narender’s philosophy of coaching. He sees each student as unique & dedicates himself to propelling what’s best in each of his pupils.
Dr. Kru Narender Kumar is martial artist in the true sense of the word. He has devoted his lifeto the study & preservation of martial arts. He began his journey of martial arts in 1980.
After studying Karate, Wushu, Kung-fu, Tai chi Quan ,Choi Kwang do & Kickboxing in hisyounger years he went to Thailand where he studied Muay Thai,and was trained by various grand masters of Muay Thai, including the ‘living legend’ Grand Master Yod Thong Srivraluk, Grand Master Pranoom Aumpin (kru Dang ) the ‘undisputed king’ of striking combat styles. Kru Narnder has been trained by some of the most revered ‘KRUs’ (translation – mentor) of Thailand. He received Assistant Master (KruYai) the Silver and Red 13 mongkol degree in Muaythai Boran in 2014 under the supervision of Grand Master Chinawut Sirisompan Woody and Grand Master Sane Tubtimtong and senior Master Pornkaew Limmongkhonchaikul .
After having the prestigious 13 khan Mongkol Degree being awarded on him,Kru Narender also studied other advanced arts, mentioned below.
Kru Narender Kumar also got the expertise in the art of waikru. He was trained by GM Chhattuchai Champahom in 2006 and GM Phosawat Saengsawang and won number of medals in various tournaments.
Kru Kumar underwent rigorous training for many years in the art of Muay Thai and attended number of seminars during his trips to Thailand. These seminars which made him proficient were conducted by various Muay Thai Grand Masters, including Kru Saner Jaritrum and Ekger Mono.
With decades of practice, study & teaching Kru Narender is considered an authority on Muay Thai & Kickboxing in India and hence the role of ‘National Coach’ has been placed on his able shoulders by MTAI. Kru Narender firmly believes that a man must pass on his knowledge and skill to the future generations & this propelled him into bringing the treasure of the World’s finest martial arts to his motherland.
His endeavor is not only to teach martial arts but also to contribute in helping the youth of today choose a righteous path in life & avoiding the negativities of today’s age. All his disciples take vow of refraining from criminal & immoral activities and dedicating their abilities & knowledge to safety of self & others.a
